Chachi, I just was in my laundry room and sorting through the piles and I found a...well...let's say it looks like a tootsie roll...BUT IT ISN'T!!!

I am not happy and you are losing your computer blogging privileges, your roam of the house just got smaller (meaning the plywood door block is going back up), and you are NOT getting a new outfit for the upcoming party. You will just have to make due with your wardrobe choices. If you don't respect my clothes, I am certainly not buying you new clothes. Now go to your snuggly and think about THAT!

The Morning NEWS!

My favorite time of the day is THE MORNING! This is when ChaChi and I get to run around outside, get hugs and kisses from the little people, and sit in Daddy's lap. Usually Momma and Daddy have coffee together and read the news on the laptop. Of course, ChaChi's blog is BIG NEWS as she is SOOOO famous.

Speaking of News, did you know that Momma and Daddy got married 16, yes 16, years ago today????? WOW! That is big news. Too much kissing around here and I need to make sure that I get plenty of attention today.

Bailey and I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say how much we missed you. Our humans were out workin for our lavish life, and we have been basking in the sun and doing our normal napping routine. Grandma Karen gave us these savvy haircuts and combed us all pretty. It is SO exhausting being glamorous. We know you understand, ChaChi.

When are you going to join us? That little Jet is so hyper and we love to just "watch" him. He is like a living TOY!

Busted!

Last night I just wanted a little TV time and I thought I would sneak out and watch a bit of entertainment with Graham and Anna. Well, Babs thought we were up too late and asked us to go to bed. Graham said "Saturday Night Live" is really funny. I just wanted to stay up and see if it really was...Sometimes Babs is such a party pooper!

I looked over at Graham and Jet and they fell asleep on the couch. I wish Saturday Night Live was on earlier!

Guess what I found in the laundry!

Hi! Jet here. I found ChaChi's T-shirt in the laundry and I thought I would try it on. Here is me being super sneaky and modeling it for Babs. It is a Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest T-shirt. It is very special because a friend of hers gave it to her as a gift. Don't I look handsome in it???

I had to giggle to myself for being so silly!

Lastly, I wanted to get it off quickly because ChaChi was coming in the room and I didn't want her to get jealous of my good looks.

Help, Baaaabs...how do I get this off....argh...so irritating...

Avalanche of Laundry!

$52,500 is all it is going to cost you....

Just when you think you are IT when it comes to fashion, along comes this little diddy. It made me stop and gasp a little while I was pawing through the fashion magazines with Babs. (I try to read them first as she coughs and sneezes on all the pages...which is just plain disgusting- even to moi.) Just so you know, her cold/flu is still hanging on. Thank god for the laptop, TV, magazines, and Thera Flu. She is getting a bit crabby now and I hope she gets better soon.

Anyhoo, this bag just made me stop and ponder. My little Chihuahua brain is trying to grasp the price tag. $52,000???!!?? What???!! And they chopped up 14 LV bags to make this little masterpiece. Tell me they didn't use a glue gun from Michaels! I am going to have to get in Babs' closet and shred some of her bags and put them back together and call it "art"...or "high fashion". Looks like Louis Vuitton beat me to it! ....tricky.

Now that I look at it again, maybe I do need this in my wardrobe. After all, it is a "tribute bag". And I, ChaCHi Lu, would be one of four people to have this stunning handbag. ...hmmm...Babs, can I get one?

SO, I am keeping Babs company today as she continues to recuperate on the couch. I decided to pick up an old issue of LIFE & STYLE and what did I read? Paris has a Chi named 'Babs'! That is way too hilarious as everyone knows that MY BABS is the only BABS. and she is not deserving of naming her Chi after my delightful human. I also read she has some other interesting names (of the other Chi hostages in her life)....Ski, Harajuku, Bambi, Tokyo, Jimi Hendrix. Thank GAWD I was adopted into a family of sanity!

I want to go on a walk right now!!!

I am just waiting for the day that Babs gets off that couch so we can go explore. There is something very exciting happening in our neighborhood and it includes TV CAMERAS! AND TY PENNINGTON AND....well, it is very exciting for a little chihuahua like me. I will be sure to put on my best walking attire now that our neighborhood has so much media surrounding my walking path. Ooooh, I have oodles of excitement ...can we go for a walk, Babs? Pleeeeeeze?

Guess what? Yesterday, my little Anna taught me how to do something really special. How do I know that it was special? Because she gives me TREATSIES! All I have to do is sit my bottom down when she says "SIT". I will gladly do this for a Bil-Jac. Better yet, I can do something that Jet can't do. For once, I am the show off! Oh, I am such a good little Chi!

Ok, Ok, I know what you are thinking...that Babs is about as reckless as Britney Spears and her "baby on her lap incident"....but let me defend her. First of all, unlike my little show off brother, I despise my traveling jail cell that Babs calls a purse. I whine, I cry, I chew the sides of the bag. I literally go NUTS. What I prefer, is to sit on Babs' lap while she drives. We had a ton of practice this week as she drove Graham and Anna to their various summer camps and gigs. I like Babs' lap and it seems to be getting bigger and softer :)...but don't tell her that I noticed...yes Babs, have another dessert. But seriously, how wonderful is it to sit and enjoy her company as we travel the city. Varoom Varoom!

Thank you for all your kind words and warm regards. I am feeling SO much better now. Just when I was getting accustomed to lying around in luxury, Babs took Jet and I outside for a "lesson". She and Graham were trying to teach Jet and I to come when we are called. Doesn't she know that I will come WHEN I FEEL LIKE IT? Pah-leeez. I will go along with this little game and get my treats. Jet, of course, is a little show off and gladly participates in such a mundane game. Ugh! He thinks he is so cool.

So ChaChi has been sleeping a ton lately and I had to explore the house on my own. I learned that I can go up and down the stairs with a pretty good hop and a jump. It is exciting! Wait until I show ChaChi my new skills!

I dare say that I am a little confused. Tuesday morning, Babs took me on a ride to our lovely Vet and the next thing I knew, I woke up without ovaries! Even though they have me on a lovely cocktail of pain killers, I am still confused as to what happened. I also overheard Babs say that I have a microchip in my neck. Am I bionic now?!? Is this out of an episode of Gattica? Maybe I am an undercover spy or something equally as interesting. I don't know. I think I am just going to lie here and .......zzzzz.......zzzzzz.......

Sunday Morning Window Shopping!

Ha! It is I ChaChi Lu and I have my computer privileges back. All I had to do was lick Babs' hand with big puppy eyes. This morning, Graham and Babs took us to Lake Minnetonka. This downtown Wayzata location was delightful but it made me quite mad. See, Babs never intended to go shopping. We just had to window shop and stare out at the lake. Boooorrrriiinnnngg! Yawn. Next time I will be sure to bring my savings so that I, ChaChi Lu, can get a magnificent treasure from one of the little boutiques.

Of course, Jet was a big show off by being absolutely excited JUST TO BE OUT WALKING. Oh, and I just have to tell you...a warning as such....that there are these giant birds (Babs called them gulls) that were swooping and cawing. I was ever so scared! Babs made sure I was protected and she let me know that I was OK. Sometimes I like her...

Yeah, we get to go to the Farmer's Market!!

Hi! Jet here. ChaChi can't go on the computer for a while as she made some bad decisions lately. But somehow, she and I were invited to go to the Minneapolis Farmer's Market with Graham, Anna and Babs. It was so fun! Babs got enough tomatoes and peppers to make Salsa for a long time. I even got a taste of a cheese curd! So yummy!

Unbelievable!

Hi. This is Babs. ChaChi is grounded and she no longer has computer blogging privileges until she apologizes for her recent behavior. Not only does she tear up her pee pad in her box, but she tore up the pee pad that was in the "no shredding" contraption that I payed $22 for at Pet Smart! And she did it within 2 hours of getting it!!! Of course, Jet continued to pee on the shreds that were left. What am I going to do with her? Like I said, she might not be posting for a while. She is busy thinking about her behavior and how her little brother has no problem with the pee pad rules or training!

Speechless...

Babs and AJ took Jet and I to coffee this morning. Everyone was a bit quiet. Yesterday was a very sad and scary day for many people in Minneapolis. It is utter disbelief that something like this could happen in our home town. Babs says that blogs should be fun, but I decided that today it just didn't seem right to post something fun. My thoughts are with the families, the rescue workers, the emergency doctors and nurses, and those who are worried about people who are missing. I guess this is as good as time as any to express how much everyone means to me and that I love you all!
