It's not even Halloween and...

Anna is already dreaming up costumes for me! This is her latest idea...Captain Jet Sparrow! I rather like the attention and I don't really care how she dresses me. I just want TREATSIES!

That Pesky PAW!

So we figured out what is wrong with ChaChi's paw. The vet said the red lump was a histiocytoma. It should go away on its own in about 6 weeks. The vet said that antihistamines can help her so we gave her half a benedryl yesterday. She was sleepy but she stopped licking it. She is still on an antibiotic which makes her stomach upset. (Ask me how I know this :)) We are all giving her extra smooches and hugs...

What? A bath? Me? How come she isn't taking me to the grooming parlor? Unbelievable!

Babs thinks she can make me all pretty at home. The warm water was nice, but c'mon...pomegranate? I am not a girl dog and I SMELL LIKE A GIRL DOG NOW! She even used a dryer and a brush and got my fur all POOOFY!

She may want to take my picture now, since I am so handsome, but I am going to ignore her. She needs to know that THIS IS NOT MY IDEA OF A GOOD MORNING! NO WAY WILL I LOOK AT THE CAMERA! BLOG THAT,BABS!

My favorite time of day is when the kids get home from school. They scoop me up and give me all the attention I can handle. I love to sit with Anna when she does her reading, or I like to be with Graham as he does homework on the computer. Ahhh, such is the life of ME!

Saturday Birthday Bash

My sister came to visit!

This weekend we had a big party for Daddy's 40th. It was super fun! And my sister, Nakey, came to visit me. She looked so fabulous in her party dress. She doesn't have any hair so she kept warm in her posh little blankee. Her mommy,Amy, got a chance to catch up with MOI and I was oh so excited. Nakey has the most amazing little smile and her tongue is permanently hanging out to the side. Even though she is extra petite, we are the same age. Nakey said we are going to see each other soon and play when the house isn't full of so many strangers!

Saturday morning Vet visit

Good morning. I am home from my morning extravaganza. Last night Babs noticed that my paw had a sore spot. Then this morning, I wasn't walking on my paw and she decided to reward me with a ride in the car. I was so excited to go for a ride with Graham and Babs and it didn't even dawn on me that SHE WAS TAKING ME TO THE VET! I whimpered the minute I smelled that wretched place. The mean mean vet shaved my paw and examined it carefully. I tried to pull my paw away as much as possible. He even TOUCHED it and I let him know that was not acceptable. I think Babs got an antibiotic...which means...yes...cheese for a few days! Yipee.

I am home now and showing off my paw to Jet and the family. I like to hobble around and look really really sad for extra attention. Jet wants to lick my paw and I am OK with that. He is so sweet.

To bed now. I have had a LONG morning.

While Babs was busy doing mundane household tasks, I sat down and figured out how to make my posts all pretty. Jet thinks they are annoying and he wants me to take him off my blog entirely. Whateva! These are so cuute and sparkly...just like me!

Muah and kisses to my fans and friends. It is I, yes Chachi lu, and I FINALLY have my blogging privileges back. Sometimes I think BABS is the one that needs a time out...but anydoodle....I have some very exciting news. It seems as though Grandma Karen gets me. She understands that it is VERY hard being a princess. So much so, she made this delightful cross stitch art for my room. (Now if only Babs got me that Chaise Lounge I have been wanting from LuLu and Luigies because it would be perfect above it.) This will look spectacular on the wall in my boudoir.

Grandma Karen, if you are reading, know that I appreciate your handiwork and I am so excited to have an exclusive one-of-a-kind piece of art. Thank you for putting my name at the bottom and for making sure my collar sparkled like my sworavsky collar. I am putting you on the top my favorite people list....and moving Babs to number 17...I mean I can't just drop her from the list all together. Babs will sit just below Fergie from Black Eyed Peas.
